LOCAL COLLABORATING ORGANISATIONS
The Círculo Dermatologico del Perú (CIDERM-Peru) is a Peruvian Medical Society, recognised by the Colegio Medico del Perú, the main Peruvian medical institution in charge of regulating, supervising and certifying the
practice of medicine in our country. Founded in 1999 CIDERM-Peru is a very active medical institution, gathering a large amount of certified Peruvian dermatologists, providing them with continuing medical education. Among the main educational activities, we would like to highlight our monthly clinical-pathological discussions, where hospitals from all large cities present their most interesting cases, now in a remote fashion. We also offer several educational courses on different areas of dermatology every year.
The Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD) is a non-profit organisation that brings together more than 4,000 dermatologists as active members, from
23 countries in Ibero-Latin America. With more than 70 years of history, it was founded in 1948 in Havana, Cuba, with the aim of promoting the scientific development of the specialty and promoting fraternal ties between Spanish-Portuguese speaking dermatologists.
