​The 2018 Summit programme focused on key issues and strategies relevant to the ILDS’ Member Societies. During the Summit, we also addressed dermatological issues that affect the South-East Asian region as well as other under-served regions.  The Programme Committee actively consulted Member Societies and regional representatives to develop the final programme. 
 

In addition to considering current important specific dermatological conditions, we explored the evolving role of dermatologists and the scope of service delivery for skin disorders by other health professionals and providers. The Summit also addressed priority issues of the International  Foundation for Dermatology (www.ifd.org), the humanitarian arm of the ILDS, such as rare or neglected diseases and under-served patients in resource-poor settings.
