The 3rd ILDS World Skin Summit will take place in Lima, Peru 2022. Building on the success of the 2nd Summit, held in Vietnam, the Summit in Peru will be an opportunity for us to update our Members on our activities since the World Congress in Milan in 2019. We will share how the 2018 Summit has shaped our 2020-2023 strategy and how we work towards our vision of Skin Health for the World.

While originally scheduled to take place in 2021, the ILDS Board made the decision to delay the Summit to ensure the rich exchange experienced in person could continue whilst safeguarding delegates’ health and not increasing the strain on local healthcare provision. In the meantime, the ILDS continued its commitment to support member organisations response to COVID-19 and to working with the World Health Organization, making sure skin health was considered in the COVID-19 context.

​The Summit programme will focus on key issues and strategies relevant to the ILDS’ Members and Partners. The Programme Committee is actively consulting ILDS Members and regional representatives to develop the final programme.
